ResponsibilitiesSchedule:
Monday - Friday, 9 hours between 7:
30am and 4:
30pm, with a one hour lunchNo Call, Weekends or HolidaysJob Specific Position Duties:
The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Provides primary or specialty medical care with the cognizance or supervision of a physician.
Responsible for a regularly appointed clinic, compatible with workload and, in addition, provide immediate evaluation and management of emergent problems as they occur.
Collect and record in proper format, medical and social historical data appropriate to the patient's condition.
Perform a general physical examination.
May become the primary care manager for a panel of patients.
As a PCM, will be the primary person responsible for the management of the health and wellness of assigned patients.
Duties include:
Examination of patients, formulation differential diagnostic plans, defines and orders required diagnostic testingInterpretation of examination findings and test results, and implementation of treatment plans.
Determines need for consultation and assists in medical care and treatment provided at the direction of other specialists.
Approving/disapproving subspecialty referralsAnswering patient telephone consults with the assistance of clinic staff.
Providing primary and secondary preventive maintenance care.
Admit inpatients as per the local MTF instructions.
Recognize those more complicated cases, initiate treatment (if appropriate), and refer to a higher level of medical expertise for diagnosis and/or treatment.
Plan and initiate proper treatment within defined privileges and the scope of practice of the facility.
Identify and report those situations and individual cases which have public health significance and carry out effective control measuresClearly communicate to other health personnel either orally or in writing the findings, diagnosis and planned treatment regimen.
Stabilize and manage a patient in a medical or surgical emergency and/or transfer to physician careDetermine appropriate means of evacuation of emergency patients, prepare patients for evacuation and arrange for evacuation support.
Perform the following blocks:
Digital, Local Infiltration, and lntercostalPerform urological procedures.
Maintain inpatient and outpatient medical records in accordance with MTF proceduresCompetently performs direct patient care for patient's ages; maintains standards of patient care as outlined in respective guidelines.
Accomplishes all updates to Aeromedical Services Information Management System (ASIMS)Complete paraprofessional requirements and paperwork for Deployment Health Assessments, civilian pre-employment physicals, incentive flight examinations, and Initial Flight Class (IFC) physicals with Flight Surgeon's aeromedical disposition/co-signature.
Incorporates the factors of the environment of care into the work section to include; safety, security, hazardous materials, emergency preparedness, line safety, medical equipment, and utility systems.
Participates in Medical Group emergency situations (e.
g.
.
tire and disaster drills).
Knows action to be taken in case of fire or natural disaster.
Demonstrates ability to direct clinic activities in the event of a tire or patient evacuation.
Maintains patient confidentiality, follows Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines and assures patient privacy at all times.
QualificationsMinimum
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Experience:
Minimum 24 months of experience as a Physician Assistant within the last 36 months.
Licensure:
Active unrestricted license as a Physician Assistant from any state.
Clinical Certification:
Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Committee on Certification Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Life Support Certification:
Possess and maintain current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
Security:
Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
