Job Summary Contract driver (1099, solo) Dry Van Local $1,500 - $1,800 total average weekly pay 1,500 average miles per week Dedicated Mostly or only day time driving 100% no touch freight Home Time 5 days on, 2 days off Home every weekend Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
Hiring Requirements At least 28 years old Class A license 2 years Tractor trailer experience in the last 3 years Experience must be with a 53 ft trailer minimum Must be able to pass urine drug test Must be eligible to work in the US Must have basic English proficiency Must have a valid DOT medical card.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
